Its top speed was 330 km/h. The BRABUS E V12 of the model year 2004 is powered by the BRABUS SV 12 Biturbo increased-displacement engine, which is implanted with almost surgical precision into the modified engine bay of the E-Class. The displacement of the 12-cylinder biturbo engine, which normally resides in a current Mercedes S 600 model, is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters. The increase is facilitated with the installation of a custom-designed one-piece crankshaft, larger diameter pistons, corresponding larger bore and precision-balanced piston rods. The BRABUS engine is further fitted with sport camshafts, precision-machined cylinder heads, a stainless-steel high-performance sport exhaust system with metal catalysts and four exhaust tips as well as newly programmed engine electronics. With these modifications the engine of the BRABUS E V12 delivers a whopping 640 hp / 471 kW at 5,100 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,026 Nm, available from just 1,750 rpm. Thus equipped the new BRABUS E V12 delivers performance that places the sedan on a level with the world's fastest sports cars: 4.2 seconds for 0 – 100 km/h, 12.9 seconds for 0 – 200 km/h and an electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h are the performance cornerstones of this exclusive high-performance sedan. Such performance requires optimal lubrication at all times. The engine, custom five-speed transmission and the BRABUS rear-axle locking differential are all operated exclusively with high- performance lubricants from BRABUS technology partner ARAL. The immense performance also necessitates the use of special tires: BRABUS technology partner Michelin supplies the exclusive tires for this car: The multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock VI light-alloy wheels in size 8.5Jx19 on the front axle and 9.5Jx19 in back are mounted with Michelin high-performance tires in size 255/35 ZR 19 in front in combination with size 285/30 ZR 19 on the rear axle. The air-sprung suspension of the BRABUS E V12 offers a sporty yet comfortable ride. The ride height is lowered by some 20 millimeters compared to the stock car. BRABUS sport sway bars contribute to the sporty handling with large safety reserves and high ride comfort. BRABUS equips the new E V12 with a custom high-performance brake system. The system is calibrated to match the electro-hydraulic SBC brake system of the E-Class and consists of 375-mm ceramic discs and 12-piston aluminum calipers on the front axle and 6-piston calipers and 355-mm vented and cross-drilled steel discs in the rear. Aerodynamics play an essential role at the extremely high speeds so effortlessly attained by the new BRABUS E V12. That's why BRABUS conducted extensive wind tunnel testing with the E V12: The BRABUS front bumper with integrated spoiler and additional carbon lip looks absolutely striking. But that's not all – it also reduces lift on the front axle thus improving directional stability at high speeds. Its aerodynamic counterpart in the rear is the custom-developed BRABUS spoiler lip for the trunk lid, which produces downforce at high speeds. BRABUS side sills give the exclusive sedan a longer, sleeker appearance. They also offer another interesting feature: Pushing a button on the keyless-entry remote or pulling on the door handles activates entrance lights integrated into the underside of the sills. They illuminate the ground next to the vehicle, making entering an exiting the car safer. The strikingly styled BRABUS rear apron rounds out the sporty yet elegant body design of the BRABUS E V12 harmoniously. A special ambiance is found in the cockpit of the BRABUS E V12: The four-door comes equipped with an exclusive BRABUS fully leather interior crafted from a combination of especially soft yet durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara. Genuine-carbon inlays on dashboard, center console and door panels create a sporty feel. In addition the sedan can be equipped with a state-of-the-art BRABUS multimedia package with DVD player and LCD monitors integrated into the front headrests. |

Impressive power Engine output is increased to a powerful 560 bhp / 412 KW with maximum torque of 810 Nm at 2600 rpm, which greatly emphasises the sporting character of the E 55 AMG. Top speed has been measured at over 320 km/h while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds.. The Carlsson range for the CK55 RS The high-grade range of products for the Carlsson CK55 RS includes an aerodynamic package. The rear spoiler and front lip bring about a reduction in lift at the front and rear and fit aesthetically into the overall exclusive and sporting look. Electronic lowering For the CK55 RS, Carlsson offers the C-Tronic® electronic lowering system, which lowers the car by approx. 30 mm. The result: a lower centre of gravity, a sporting appearance and reduced aerodynamic drag. An impressive appearance: ultra-light forged wheels For the CK55 RS, Carlsson recommends ultra lightweight forged wheels in the dimension 8.5 x 19“ (245/35, Dunlop Sp. 9000) at the front and 10 x 19“ (285/30, Dunlop Sp. 9000) at the back. The 16-spoke wheels round off the sporting and elegant appearance of the CLK-RS and are available exclusively from Carlsson. |

In addition, the KLEEMANN E50KCC offers performance at a level only very few SUVs are able to match. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h and the car accelerates from 0 -100 km/h in less than five seconds. The KLEEMANN E50KCC is based on the Mercedes-Benz E500T 4-Matic but the conversion can be carried out on any E-Class T-model. Ride height is increased by 50 mm without compromising driving dynamics To increase ride height of the car, KLEEMANN engineers have developed special modifications that offset the whole chassis 30 mm up from the suspension and drivetrain. In other words, this technical solution allows the engine and gearbox to stay where originally placed while the AirMatic suspension continues to work as on the standard car. Together with a new wheel package, the offsetting of the chassis results in a ride height increase of a total of 50 mm while the center of gravity is kept nearly as low as on the standard car. Ground clearance alone is increased by 20 mm. The wheels and tires have been selected to ensure that comfortable and quick everyday driving is maintained while also making the car capable of light off road driving or driving in snowy and slippery conditions. 255/45-ZR 18 TOYO Proxes tires are fitted on 18 inch alloy wheels large enough to make provisions for the KLEEMANN KB4 High Performance Brake system. The Exterior redefined To match the performance and image of the E50KCC, KLEEMANN has redesigned the exterior of the elegant estate significantly. The exterior modifications are more than enhancement parts fitted to the body; they are a complete redesign of the whole lower part of the car including the wheel arches, giving the car a muscular look and strong road presence. The front and rear skirt, with built-in undercarriage protection in stainless steel, are connected by a bold side skirt and wide wheel arch flares. All together it gives the E50KCC a stern yet sporty look emphasized by polished aluminium roof rails. As always the rear skirt makes provisions for the trapezoid KLEEMANN exhaust pipes. The Power Package The car is powered by the well known 5.0 litre V8 Kompressor engine which in full KLEEMANN trim puts out 595 Hp @ 5800 rpm and 770Nm of torque @ 2000 rpm. The power upgrade, consisting of the KLEEMANN Kompressor, a reprogrammed ECU, tubular exhaust headers and Super Sport camshafts, is also available for the V6 powered cars thus a KLEEMANN CC can be based on an E240T of E320T as well as the E500. |
